Global Design Project - #GDP061

I've been inspired by the amazing images popping up everywhere of OnStage Live in Brisbane - a Stampin' Up! 3 day that took place over the weekend.  So this morning, as I stalked my favourite Crafters, I was equally as inspired by the Design Team over at Global Design Project also known as - the blog where my idols live.

Here is the colour combination that got my creative juices flowing:

Here is my card, I've used Botanical Builder Framelits for those beautiful flowers and leaves.  A small piece of DSP from the Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack.

I like a touch of grunge so I've inked and roughed up the edges of the Basic Black layer and used dimensionals to lift it up.  Once I added the flowers and leaves I knew it needed a simple, understated sentiment... this one from Flower Patch is perfect.

I think that the ink and roughness together with the delicate flowers and rhinestones.

What do you think?  Leave me a comment, I love hearing from you!

  3. Gorgeous Lisa! I love your 'pretty with a touch or rough' card! I'm a 'pretty with a touch of bold' girl so it totally works for me too! Thanks so much for joining in with this week's Global Design Project. Have a wonderful day!
