August Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop

Hi there and welcome to another blog hop with the girls from the Ink & Inspiration Design Team.

This month we have a great photo for inspiration.  Our fabulous Jessie was inspired by this gorgeous packaging... beautiful, yes?

Lots of things about this picture are inspiring, the beautiful fresh colours, the circles or bubbles, the ombre effect or even the font layering.  What inspires you about this image?

I was inspired by the colours - we all know I love my blues & greens.  BUT, I was also inspired by the texture... Here's what I came up with.

To create this card, I've layered the Watercolor Wash Background Stamp with the Brick Mask and  some Embossing Paste - this stuff is seriously addictive and if you haven't tried it yet - you need to!  I've also used the Lovely Words Thinlets for my sentiment, some Burlap Ribbon and my favourite Linen Thread.  Oh and a scrunched up piece of White Doily.

Thank you for popping in, please hop all the way around to see what these fabulous girls have created and don't forget to leave some love on your way through - we love reading your comments xo
